Issue
In Revit, the Home Page shows the BIM 360 hub, but projects are grayed out and cannot be opened:
Cause
A BIM 360 Design, or BIM Collaborate Pro entitlement have not been assigned to the user.
For reference, see the following article: Cloud models (Workshared or Non-Workshared) from BIM 360/Autodesk Docs are grayed out on Revit home page
Affected Software
Revit 2020 and higher
Resolution
Autodesk Docs allows access through the portal, so that members can be added to a project and see it online. However, Autodesk Docs does not include a Revit Cloud Worksharing entitlement. Check if you have a license:
- Login to your Autodesk Account.
- From the left-hand panel, click on All Products & Services.
- Look for BIM 360 Design or BIM Collaborate Pro listed under Products & Services.
- Note: There should also be a product for Revit Cloud Worksharing with Included listed underneath.
- If BIM 360 Design is not listed, then you do not currently have entitlement for this service.
For the user to work in Revit, the Primary or Secondary admin will need to ensure they are assigned a BIM Collaborate Pro license from the Autodesk Account: How to assign a Collaborate Pro license seat to a user
