'Set Status' grayed out when using Markups in Session

Issue

There is no arrow next to Set Status in the right-click menu, and when performing the following: 

  1. Go to Window >  Panels >  Markups or press ALT+L to show the Markups list.
  2. On the Markups list, click the  icon on the Status column and select Manage Status. The Manage Status dialog box appears.

Manage Status is grayed out.

Cause

Permissions-based.

Affected Software

ex. Bluebeam Studio Sessions

Resolution

  1. Test to see if the issue is isolated to a Session by opening a new PDF that is not in a session and creating a markup
  2. See if the issue persists
  3. If it works outside of the session, then the user should contact the Session admin to adjust permissions (Tools and menu items are grayed out during a Session). This can sometimes cause custom statuses not to appear.
  4. If the issue persists in a non-session, then reset Bluebeam to default or make sure the user is on the latest update:
